Week 5 Alternate Assignment

  I've been working with Crave for about a year now and I have loved it. It is a family business, so I have been able to watch it grow from the start. We have almost 1,500 followers and are growing a little bit each day. Right now, my boyfriend's family is moving, so the business is on pause. This means the daily activity is fairly slow. However, on days we are open, there is a lot of activity wether that is comments, likes or shares.

    After doing some research on similar companies I found that the products are similar but each business has a little bit different style. Each business uses Facebook to connect and communicate with their customers. Facebook helps promote their business. Some of the business are active and have a nice layout. One page I found is not as active and hadn't posted for a year. The other pages I found are very active and post at least one every week. They use facebook to tell customers where they are at if they are in a food truck and communicate to them their hours. The cover photos are displayed nicely on most except for one the image is zoomed in and the user would have to click on it to see the full image. I think these business could stay more active and interact with customers more. It is important to give the customers you already have some love! I want to try and do a big giveaway for our followers. I noticed one of the similar pages had a bug giveaway. This could promote growth to my company.
